ive read topics and posts that disrespect Anton LaVey and his work and all that he has done for us. Also ive read some topics expressing gratitude toward his movement.

In a recent topic ive read that he was in fact a SS and that he had to hide it, that he "hid" his SSatanic beliefs and he hinted that he was a spiritual Satanist. I even think that it was a Priest or Priestess that stated this.

If there is truth that he was a SS and he hinted that he was, in what writings were they in?

Is there a topic on this that clears him as a SS, ive read about there being one too.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SETTLE THIS?!?!?

That recent post about Lavey believing Satan is real was mine actually. Though he wasn't probably a SS in the same way we are, such as knowing Satan is Enki, that is a Nordic helping us reach Godhood and other things like that. He was as close to SS as he could be given the knowledge about Satanism he had at that time period. There wasn't as much knowledge as there is now.

HP Maxine has explained that before and another person here gave the link to her post, I probably don't need to add more on that.

I love the quote where Lavey speaks against the modern Laveyans and the modern "Church of Satan" who deny Satan completely and calls them "heretics".

Spiritual Satanist or not, LaVey did open the door for Satanism to
become mainstream. Without LaVey, there is a good chance that we would
not even be allowed anything. "Satan" means so many bad things to so
many people, and the kikes are doing all they can to keep it that way.
LaVey took some of the stigma out of it, opening the door for us to
finish the job.

Whether LaVey was a true spiritual Satanist or not, he was a true
pioneer.

I can't speak for LaVey cuz I never met him.
I always had a feeling he really did believe in Satan, although he claimed Satan was an archetype.

Its in his writings, his musings, hisw blaspheme of the "holy spook".

IMO he was a true Satanist. But who knows?

And it isn't really important to you, or anyone elses spiritual growth whether he was or not.

It is quite important actually, as we're also about educating people and showing them the truth. That's a secondary objective of SS, practicing spiritual warfare, clearing the misconceptions about Satanism and showing everyone the truth. SS is not about total selfism and disregarding helping people advance or education or spiritual warfare, I hope you know that. If Lavey considered modern laveyans as "heretics" this sheds new light to the whole situation, as the modern laveyans who are the ones who mostly attack us because we know Satan is real have absolutely no basis for that and many of them can even become SS's or refuse to call themselves Satanists after that.

I myself sometimes even prioritize helping others advance, spiritual warfare e.t.c. over my personal spiritual growth, I put helping others and Satan above my spiritual advancement because I'm Aquarius (sun sign). I try to balance all these though, never neglect my own spiritual advancement completely. I also love gaining new knowledge.
