Mercury is another major aspect of the Magnum Opus and symbolizes several
aspects of the work. For one, the Mercury represents the
witchpower/bioelectricity/chi that acts as a catalyst for the process along
with the heat. Mercury was also the hermaphrodite, which symbolizes the
completion of the unification of the purified soul. There are other meanings
for Mercury in different aspects such as the "quicksilver" aspect which is
female opposite the sulphur aspect which is male.

All of the symbols in Zevism and the images of the gods contain powerful
messages.
