The God El

Who is the God known as El? It is a name used interchangeably with the enemy God but at the same time it's a fact that El was the name of a Pagan God prior to this. Some say El is Enlil others say is Enki/Satan. He's also been likened to Cronus/Saturn too because the story in his pantheon parallels that of the Greek.
