I just to cut the top of my forearm when I was younger because I was going through a painful time of my life. I was scared to draw blood even then so I know I would be too scared to draw blood for Satan. I know that using blood is a crucial part of the ritual, but what if I can't get enough to write out the prayer? I don't want to make a big or particularly deep cut.

You don't need to write the whole prayer in blood. You may write it with a pen and only sign your name with blood. Even a drop is enough.
