The color black.

I'm not sure if there is a subject on this or not, but this is something I thought about. I am new and am more than happy to learn if I am wrong.
The color black is the absorbtion (correct word?) Of all color/light. This may be the case with energy too, black tends to absorb energy better than other colors. The burning of a black candle is symbolic of releasing the stored energy as well as Father Satan's favored candle color.
If I am wrong or anything, feel free to correct me as I am always happy to learn.
