There were two forms of Government being Decided upon.
Unitary form: Where the Government has full power over everything.
Confederal Form: Where the country can decide what it wants but the states hold absolute power over themselves.
Later they combined the two and created.
Federal Form: the Government has control over things such as Foreign affairs, taxation and there is one currency. However, the states hold judicial power over themselves. There is more but this is the gist.
Unfortunately the Federalists wanted to truly make a unitary Form. They fought with Democratic Republicans and the Democratic Republicans won out in the end. Not all Federalists were bad and many joined the Democratic Republican side.
The North began enforcing its ways upon the states. The South being Satans Direction has always been known for its Rebellion. Thus formed the Confederacy or the rebellion. Where we get the rebel flag or confederate flag. Really Obama what they fought for was wrong? Freedom and independence?
Eleven states seceded from the union and attempted to become their own country, they began forming their own Government. The North declared war on the South. What actually happened was America was now two Separate Countries. One country waged war on the other, they were completely Separate with different Governments.
The North Declared we will Destroy you before we let this Happen. They crushed the South and reunited, excuse me forced it back into the union against its will. Later declaring it had to do with Slavery, which it never did. The South was already preparing to free their slaves. We still have the power to secede from the union, but they left us with the thought of we will destroy you if you try. Unitarianism wins out, while confederacy and Federacy dies.
Those who win the war, write the History. Yet the truth is still right there for all to see. They literally ignore History and claim things that are based off of nothing. Others who do not research or think for themselves regurgitate this information and thus the birth of a Myth is born.
