Some new folks here are quite young and aren't always entirely sure what they're asking. They also probably just want somebody (satanic) to talk to, and a personalised answer.

Sometimes it's also good to revisit questions as the answers in a more evolved community will provide a more thorough answer. I have certainly seen helpful things posted in new threads where the questions have previously been asked before.

That being said, I agree the search function is really useful as is the joy of satan website.

I would suggest if posts are irritating you, just ignore them and focus on the posts you find fulfilling. Or see if there are any areas of the topic you could advance further in yourself, or share a more thorough understanding with the community.

that is so true. i happen to be more nice and respectful to people though even to strangers sometimes just to be friendly and that might be a reason i got three friends and all 3 are Male none Female though and of course despite how much people like me and call me cool and like the imagination i have such as making up alien species and mixing it with magick powers and technology i've been told i could write a book make a video game make movies and series etc. also at one of the jobs i work at i work as a janitor and ALL the managers like me and get along with me and have told me i'm the best cleaner they ever had etc. and the second job i have i get paid more but they only give me one day due to issues getting customers in oh well.

also do you think i could make money off of writing books and making art cause even my astrology chart had aspects related to that

Completly agree. I am here to help out with what I can stuff I don't know about or don't want to answer or talk about I skip just like you should. I don't mind this.

This is a good post Woden. You are right that people need to learn to search for their own answers, because with self study in combination with intuition almost all questions can be answered.

From day one as an SS I've always searched for answers myself, and answered 99% of my questions myself. Not everyone can be expected to do the same, but people definitely should get in the habit to first study by themselves and look for the answers on their own in a serious attempt (sometimes I took a few days to search for an answer, sometimes I let a question burn in the back of my mind for months while meditating on it periodically until I finally found an answer).

The satisfaction of finding your own answers is wonderful, it also helps set one free from dependency on others which is beneficial for SS on your path to advancement since most of the crucial steps have to be undertaken by you yourself and you can't depend on anyone else except yourself to succeed.

We do always say the new person should read the whole of the Joy of Satan to learn everything we are about, and to learn all the Spiritual Satanic Truth there is to know.

Just reading the Joy of Satan opens parts of the mind that are usually closed in people as one connects directly to the consciousness of the Gods.

Often when reading the Joy of Satan website, I felt any mental fog or uncertainty clear up, entering a state of great clarity and expanded consciousness, just from reading the website and thinking on the things I read.

This lead me to find answers to many questions, even those entirely unrelated to what I was reading.

Self study by using your intuition to seek and find answers also helps one exercise the intuition and improve it. These mental and psychic abilities are not unlike muscles which get stronger with use and practice.

There's numerous benefits to self study on the path to Spiritual Satanic enlightenment.

No one's saying that argedco. My point was, and I know it's a long shot, was to make the lazy buggers think and do some searching, "capiche?"

Yeah, exactly. For certain things, we're not really helping them. We're feeding them, instead of teaching them to feed themselves. This may be beneficial in the short term, but harms them in the long term. It's like debating instant gratification versus long-term gains.

I'm constantly amazed at how many times people come to the forum asking for information and answers to questions I found because I searched for it!!!

1. Mostly everything I know I have found by using the search feature above, searching the various JoS websites or downloading informative articles here in the forums.

2. I seldomly ask for advice...wait for it!...because I search

3. This is a constant source of irritation to members here, and frustration when people repeatedly ask the same question..."Hello? Hello?...lights are on but no one's home!".

Any additional information anyone needs for personal problems or information of a unique spiritual nature can be addressed here.

A that in the Italian forum are often asked always ele site questions, on the one hand I understand and understand the tip sense of irritation, since it is not difficult to use the search button.

But on the other hand I put myself in the shoes of those who are new full of doubts, questions and especially with a great desire to confront directly with those who are more experienced and have a social relationship with other Satanists rather than the coldness of a web page.


The emotional side of those who approach for the first time to the satanic world must be taken into account and it must be understood that halo of doubt and intriguing mystery that is hidden in the minds of newcomers.

Precisely because some are more advanced than others, they should understand all this because most have already experienced it.
