What are the similarities and differences between Joy of Satan Ministries and the Temple of Set?

"Lewis and Petersen describe the organization's philosophy of being the "intellectual wing of esoteric Satanism", and that it is heavily based on the writings of Aleister Crowley and Western esotericism in general. If it's true, then I'd say to ignore it.

The ToS is based at the core upon the Neo-Platonic philosophy that the Catholic Church is. Just taken from the other side of the coin. Its very reserve Catholicism in its doctrine hence still within such paradigm. The other problem with Neo-Platonist's philosophy is the Catholic rewrote the Greek philosophers to turn them all into Christians. We are the Perennial Pagan, Tradition.

Ah, thank you so much for your reply! I came across their website and I must say after you cleared it up, they are awfully sneaky!

You wouldn't happen to know much about reiki would you? I read it was some powerful stuff and I am going to have to deal with a xian reiki master soon to be in the family, by marriage.

Wow, thank you so much for replying. I will and do put a white-gold Sun aura of protection around me everyday. If I am busy and can't do it until later in the day I definitely notice a difference.

Reading your stuff is amazing. It is amazing because what you are describing is exactly how she is. So how do I know how powerful she is? When I met her briefly for the first time she read my thoughts, but claims she can only do it with my permission. Could this mean she has other powers also?

If I remember right. Aquino openly stated he is a Neo-Platonist in an interview. I personally respect Aquino very highly. But simply intellectually,  disagree with the doctrine of the ToS. Nothing personal on my part.
 
 
I have my "Masters" level in Reiki. Its just pranic healing. And is only as powerful as the level of metaphysical transformation the individual is on hence conductivity. You can only bring in 50 volt through a 50 volt line. etc. There is a reason the Vedanta texts call the Magnum Opus. Creating the superconductive body.
 
Most nuuu aged, xians are about as spiritually powerful as a weak, bean burrito fart in a wind tunnel. Because they never work on themselves. They just sit around and trade anecdotal, sentimental tales like base ball cards. And consider this being spiritual. That's the great lie of xianity to the nuuu age. Fooling the masses with the lie that sentimentality is spirituality.  They believe being a sentimental ass, equals enlightenment. If a person did an hour of research and knew what enlightenment is. The Magnum Opus this would change. Its not like this is even hiding.
 
The great hubris of the Xian-nuuuuu age. Is while none of them are enlightened they constantly believe themselves to be such  even if they would admit it. So they just go in a circle jerk to nowhere. They are in  narcissistic love with their own hubris nothing else.
