So you bought the kefir grains or kefir beverage? Im happy you looked into kefir.
Yeah, kefir is pretty good stuff. Its strong too so its best to go little slow about two tablespoons a day and then working your way up. Its possible you will have a healing reaction happen. When the digestive system starts to heal and the lining of the gut started to repair, you might notice some flatulence and or diarrhea but his is a good thing as the body is expelling old waste and toxins. The kefir helps to clean the system too.
As for teas and overall body cleansing, I would go with teas that cleanse the liver and blood and lymph. The liver, blood and lymph moves and transports wastes from the body and removes them. There are many ways to remove and cleanse the body but I since the Liver and blood and lymph moves and transports waste toxins, and the liver being the filter, you can focus on them for starters. Clean blood and a high immune system are one of the ways to keep yourself healthy. Yoga also helps to move the lymph by means of activity and moving the limbs.
Now as for what I mentioned about herbs and teas, you can take an herb in tea, tincture or capsule form. You can choose that.
Herbs for cleansing the blood and Liver and moving the lymph:
Milk thistle powerful liver cleanser and rejuvenator
Schizandra (great for the immune system and organs and liver)
Dandelion, a traditional liver stimulant Yellow dock (great for skin and blood)
Red Root, great for cleaning the lymph nodes
Manjistha, declogs the lymph system
Chaparral, good blood 'detergent' and cleanser
Astragalus, good immune booster and stimulant
There are many herbs. Red clover is good for the blood but it is also high in phytoestrogens and xenoestrogens mimics are everywhere so you can do without.
I take these tincture and bitter before breakfast lunch and or dinner. Good for the blood and Liver.
Has been very effective. I get them from this website.
