elements could be a part of it too. yellow is air which is the element of intellect which would go with you being a thinker. purple is of water which is emotion/spritualality. if you're advanced enough try invoking water and air to see how your aura responds. heres some links to help

I see akasha when I meditate and my 6th chakra is the strongest. Maybe the 7th and 3rd chakras are your strongest and radiate the most energy into your aura. I'm not 100% sure if thats whats really happening but it seems like a good theory.

Does anyone else experience this--years ago I went to a psychic and she told me she saw "purple and yellow" aura colors around me. She said the purple meant spirituality, and yellow meant I was "a thinker." Right on both accounts. Then I started to meditate, and noticed the colors I see are purple and yellow! When I do void meditation, I see swirling purple and yellow colors and nothing else. Does anyone else see colors like this when you void meditate?
