Hello family. I have a weakened Sun and am currently midway through performing the *Material Sun Square*. My questions are:**
1. Will completing the Material Sun Square activate and strengthen my Sun?
2. Or will it only activate my Sun in its current weakened state (as shown in my natal chart)?
3. Should I use the *Spiritual Sun Square* instead to strengthen it?

When you make planetary squares, you influence the aspect in which it is present. Using the Sun Square, in this case, could certainly strengthen it, but I think it's more appropriate for the spiritual side (which is why I prefer you get some news coverage).

It's excellent, however, on the material side.

1. Yes but not by much, any sort of occult work has some level of empowering effect even if is only negligible as at the very least it stops atrophy.
2. Not sure.
3. You can do both as spiritual and material squares can be done concurrently, the spiritual square will be much more effective for strengthening your natal sun however.

For general strengthening, I would go for a spiritual one.
Nevertheless, finish this square without doubts, as it will empower it anyway (of course, depending where are directing its energies) .
