Sun square affirmation + date/time?

Hello everyone! I had a question about the sun square.... I was reading this book about success and affirmations and I came across this one affirmation the book recommend to do everyday in front of the mirror "I AM WHOLE, PERFECT, STRONG, SUCCESSFUL, HAPPY AND POWERFUL" I've been trying it out the last few weeks and I've seen great improvements in my mentality and demeanor. I thought it might be a good idea to add some energy to these affirmations such as the sun square. So my questions are... #1 Would this actually work? Or are the affirmations too broad for the sun square? And #2 Is there an upcoming date that would be good to start a sun square? Is the sun in a sign of its fall or detriment?
