Strange "Star"

On September 21st, I went outside around 10 or 11 o'clock pm. And I saw this star, it was significantly brighter, and larger than the others. It wasn't the North Star, which is usually the brightest. This "star" when I was looking off gave off a VERY strange energy, it wasn't a bad energy, it was good, very, very, very, very powerful though. It was so big and bright, it was almost like an eye. Or at least that's the way my mind interpreted it. It felt like some sort of hole or eye, as if somebody or something was looking down at us. Or even possibly me specifically. But the thing is. I went outside today to feel the energy of it again, to investigate some more, and maybe find out what it was. But its gone, its not there anymore. I can't feel the energy either.

So I guess my question is, did any of you see it? Or maybe know what it might be?
