Strange ailment.

Here I am with yet another request for diagnosis by our two devoted SS doctors.

So here is the thing, for the last month or so, Ive had this strange tension/pressure/radiation which is a dull to minor discomforting sensation that is certainly dominant on the left of my neck/sinus/facial area.

It all began when I found myself in quit a primal and agitated state while sitting at my computer, and I clenched and tensed my muscles everywhere to alleviate the urges of pointless belligerence, and a semi sharp/dull acute pain in my throat hollow area prompted me to stop, only do do it again as though Im sensitive Im also a curious hypochondriac who likes testing the situation.

This sharp pain is actually nothing new but it only comes once every while, as the first time was when I was 16 (quite a few years ago) when eating pizza and playing video games and possible due to my strenuous posture and anticipated tension during gameplay.  (I know, very funny habits stuffing the face while gaming).

It seems that quite a few things since age 16 have developed, including that throat thing, a tension when I urinate which Ive been learning to control through hydration and relaxation, and a host of other things.

But this throat thing only happened maybe a few times throughout the years since then and the last time was a month ago.

Also, since we moved here I have noticed I get eye pains more frequently and pronounced in times of either high pollen or humidity, but probably more related o my own activity reading from a screen etc.

Now here is where I combine the throat thing and the eye thing, coupled with possibly sleeping or sitting/leaning, and even working out in a way which may have triggered this set of nerves which I can barely notice some days but then it comes back with pronounced radiating ache.

It never feels so bad as to describe it as "painful" but it is certainly not comfortable.

To summarize, radiating sensitivity in the form of a ache, possibly from tension or misaligned posture, but overall affecting everywhere from the neck and throat to my upper sinuses, eye and face on the left.

I highly appreciate any advice.

Part of it seems rather self explanatory.

You mention you moved houses.. Are there any new things in the house that could contain toxins or other chemicals? Even wall isolation?

Im pretty sure the insulation from the ceiling is outdated and very prone to floating around if disturbed up there, given the vents I have.

Its a house built in the 80s so a lot less than usual toxicity should be marked off the list.

I live right damn next to High Power transmission lines but this area has not caused such intensity of this ailment until the recent month or two.

Im calling it a strange ailment because unfortunately its a blend of recurring things from years ago when I was no where near this town yet also new ones which combine in a bit of a viscous cycle of tension due to worrying.

ive learned to nit worry about it quite fluently and just go through things with vigor, but the ailment likes to pop its obnoxious head in and throw me off every now and again.

I will emphasize that this throat pain near the bottom and a bit to the left only happens for a moment in occasions of intense focus where I may or may not unconsciously lean or tilt my posture on the cervical spinal area and with some type of breathing perhaps.

but there is other parts of this whole thing that reach up into my left eye.

Its beginning to really concern me as Ive seen these rare conditions that are a vague inclusion to "fibromyalgia" (a collection of symptoms with no pinpointed source of nervous agitation) and their are people with these conditions with little treatment much less a cure, described as some of the worst pains recorded in their chronic stage...

Honestly my body is really chaotic, I took your advice by eating less damp related foods like the cold foods and excess carbohydrates and used black coffee as a diuretic to flush it out.

It has gotten under obvious control and I thank you, though to be honest I started jumping too soon back into eating really just about anything, I just have no routine generally and this has me eat when Im bored or to stay away, then I exercise at very odd intervals and intensities.

This neck and head thing is not helping me feel vital thats for sure.

I thought it could very likely be the food an such Im eating too much of, but I am not even sure it was what caused this.

Have you ever had a feel around on the side of your neck for small (or large) bumps?

Phlegm nodules have a habit of accumulating in the neck and can wreak havoc in all kinds of ways.

Long term damp, which is very difficult to get rid of can and often will eventually turn to phlegm which then in turn is even harder to get rid of especially by diet and exercise alone.

As I said and can emphasize with confidence, the odd neck to head pains can peak at the night hours if not stirring in the day, and it happens more with strain such as when I think or focus intensely (though the mode of thought may simply tune me into said ache if not triggering it.

I think I have, especially on the left if its not just my imagination filling the memory of things, I know Ive felt what I thought were either blood vessels or lymph nodes.

Hard to rid huh?

Sigh, not like my laments helps, I wasnt exactly destined with health having a 6th house Saturn in Pisces...

Ive heard vertical exercise (jumping, bouncing etc) helps get the lymph clearing as the lymph by itself has no direct “pump” so to say as the other vessels in the body.

So I guess we speculate the damage, what can be done now?

Central, I trust you enough to see my chart, could I PM you and see if you can identify long term struggles Ill have to watch out for in my health?

One final update on this issue, it is very apparent that physical things like the way I orient my neck and such contribute to this, especially with direct touch.

This night after a jog I gently poked and massaged around the area marginally above the hollow of the throat, and when I felt seemingly symmetrical structures which protruded but did not feel necessarily like the nodes, I noticed the left was in fact a tad more pronounced.

I rubbed it with the obvious knowledge of what it may do and it did in fact trigger a spike in the sensation if only briefly after I stopped for a second.

So I can physically pinpoint where it is, it certainly is not related to my neck posture but something in the front just to the side but within the boundary of the sternocleidomastoid on the left marginally above the throat hollow.

I hope this helps, Im really inconsistent with many things and I should have taken my diet and exercise with yoga seriously, I should not have to suffer like this, but stupidity and laziness aside this will be my lesson to rebuild myself.

So yes phlegm is difficult to move but not impossible.

It just takes time and a special list of ingredients plus things to avoid.

I'd be more than happy to look at your chart particularly to see your elemental make up as this determines constitutional health.

From that we can determine whether or not phlegm accumulation is something that your constitution inclines to or not - it indicates a favourable prognosis if that is so and a less favourable one (without serious work and treatment) if say your constitution is hot and dry (as a fire dominant person might be).

Thank you, how would I go about emailing you?  Its been a while and Yahoo has been shifting around so Im unsure how I used to do so.
