Spirits at home

In the past my grandparents lived in my parents's home on the upper floor; now they are died but there is always their presence.

I have heard noises in the night: like someone trying to light the gas, move the handle and I heard walking.
These noises have been confirmed also by my parents.
In addition, my parents also heard knocking on their room's door.

Today, I have asked my mother if these noises are still present in the home. She has replied me that now she hears walking only (always in the night).

I have asked my Demon something about it. I have received an answers from him: these spirits don't want to leave their material home, they accept family's people only, they know they are died.

My questions are:
1. How can these spirits still appear after many years from their death?
2. Do they need energy?
3. Could they drawn energy from my parents?
4. Should I banish them?

I think HP Maxine has a long experience with dead humans, maybe she could help you better than me.
I did reply to you in the Italian e-group however I have no experience with dead humas.
I can guess there is a vampiric situation that is often present when heavy xian souls are involved and stay attached to their relatives.
