Soulmates and Mirroring

I think I meet my soulmate about two years ago. We're not actually dating right now, but we're good friends and are talking about marriage and starting a family together. Today we were talking about stuff and he mentioned he liked another girl besides me. I wasn't angry with him, but just sad. I still love him and wanna spend the rest of my life with him, but now I'm afraid he'll cheat on me. After we were done talking, I looked up stuff on soulmates and it said something about how we're all mirrors of each other, so we have noone to blame but ourselves. I can understand that; I'm not purely monogamous either. I think about him a lot, but I also think about sexual relations with video game characters( LOL, I know). I don't plan on cheating on him and I do believe he geniuely loves me. I don't want our relationship to end in infidelity, so is there something I can do to improve the both of us? Also, I read we all have multiple soulmates and they're predestined by our souls before we're born and how not all of our soulmates were meant to be long term and harmonous. Does anymore know more about this? Why is it like this? If this is true, does it mean that polygamy(sp?) is natural? Just wondering.

Personally I don't believe in soulmates. Why? Because I've
studied Astrology for years, and I know that it is literally
impossible for someone to match/compliment you in every single
way, which is the requirement for a soulmate. Something in your
natal chart will inevitably oppose or square something in their
chart, and thus you are not truly a "perfect match".

In my opinion, you two should sit down and discuss your
relationship boundaries. I have a friend who's getting
married and she has an agreement with her fiance that she
can sleep with other women, but not men. He is allowed to
sleep with other women, but only if it's a three-way and she's
there with him. So perhaps you could arrange an agreement with
him that pleases both of you?

As for polygamy being natural... well, Lord Satan has 5 wives.
So I'm going to go ahead and say yes on that.
