Hello.

I can do magick but it seems to only work when Im in a psychotic break? When I say magick, I mean high level stuff. Its just that when im in these states im often in a lot of stress, overstimulated and it tends to disrupt my life a lot in terms of being "compatible with society", if thats makes sense? It drives me *actual crazy*, in the sense of being dysfunctional.

Im not a zevist. The whole religion thing doesnt appeal to me at all, but im convinced this community at least used to have advanced people here. I havent been here in awhile, but I assume this is still true.

If I can figure out how to do magick without going psycho, theres a lot of opportunities available to me. I just dont have anyone I know to talk to about this. Ive gotten hints from dreams and such, but the *gods* seem to largly leave me to figure it out myself.

The issue is that Im trying to start a new career at the same time also, and it feels like Im being stretched too thin between these paths. Do you think I need to solely commit to just one thing right now?

When im in the right mindset, rituals work within hours. Ive blown out light bulbs by sending energy to them, Ive astral projected to people and messed with their devices without even being consciously aware of it, Ive had people get beaten up physically when they annoyed me. My power hasnt been used in the best ways, but I want to learn to use it more reliably and for the right reasons. I want to make the world a better place.

Study this site for all it offers, including the Liturgical Prayers of Izfet and Ma'at. Sure you can sure as hell try without being a Zevist but doesn't make sense logically considering things will just be more clear as you walk this path.

Trying to push Zevism like this to someone who isn’t a Zevist doesn’t work. They already said they’re not a Zevist, this should be respected.

Rituals work better when a lot of emotion and energy are put into them. Your periods of power may have been coincided with moon phases of astrological placements.

Yoga and bandhas are very good at creating proper energy circulation in the body and soul which will help you control your emotions and increase your soul power, creating better results in your magick.

High Priestess Lydia Coventia has made a lot of good posts on yoga. You don’t need to be a Zevist to apply the knowledge she has given into practice. A lot of emotional struggles come from “blockages” in the chakras, also known as granthis.

I completely understand your distaste for religion. I’ve had that too.

Religion’s image has been deeply corrupted by Abrahamism, and sadly this pushy agressive attitude seems to be present in some Zevists as well. It just wards people off, those with a sense of self respect anyway.

Our website has a advanced philosophy section at the bottom where aspects of life are explored deeply. If you’re interested you could read these and see if they appeal to what you value. It goes into detail on Zevist/Pagan philosophy which is very different and in many ways opposite to mainstream “religion”.

God/the Gods are not what you think they are, it’s nothing like the bible. If you want, try to communicate with them as described in the TOZ materials. They are real and value your freedom and individuality very deeply.
