Sleep paralysis, vibrations and noise.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some clarity concerning this. The other day I meditated on my third eye, aura as well as heart chakra. It didn't take long before I felt exhausted and kept having this persistent feeling that a nap would be a good idea.

So of course, I listened to my instincts and did just that. About two hours into the nap, I kind of came to. It was like I was asleep, but awake. My eyes felt like lead and I couldn't seem to open them. My limbs felt equally as heavy, and it was like I was aware that I was stuck between sleep and awareness.

What makes it stranger is that it felt like my entire chest was vibrating - and not subtle little vibrations either, but big, enormous ones that made it feel like my entire body was literally buzzing off the surface of my bed. Along with the vibrations, I could hear this really, really loud buzzing noise. Best way of describing it would be the sound of a plane... in the middle of your bedroom.

I panicked, of course. I've tried to astral project in the past and even go into a trance, but very unsuccessfully. After having been on a meditational hiatus for over a year and not having tried anything for ages - this happens after my first meditation in a very long, long time. I freaked out, of course, and couldn't sleep for an entire day.

Last night it seems to have happened again. I lit lavender incense, placed a few small branches of lavender here and there in my room for elevated protection, lit candles and all. I fell asleep while on Skype with a friend, whom I've told all of this to. When I woke up this morning, he told me that he heard a really loud vibrating shortly after I'd fallen asleep and that it was so strong that it made his headset vibrate.

My body is aching all over as if I've been working out, electrical appliances are going a bit haywire around me, my head is in a constant achey state and I keep seeing these bright flashes, lines and blue fogs(which I know can't be bad). I've always had very sensitive awareness since I can remember, but right now my senses are going berserk. I'm freaking my friends out, and my hearing seems to have cleared up to the point where I can hear gravel crunching when people pass by outside my building.

Can anyone please shine some light on this situation? I'm in dire need of some comfort, answers and advice atm as you can probably tell I'm not in the best mindset.

Please, and thank you.

It could be a lot of things but nothing to panic about. Not meditating for a long time can really throw your body off, block things, and open you to attack. That doesn't sound like an attack at all though, but ya never know. Possibly you unblockes something from meditating and the flow was cut off before. Now there's a flood of bioelectricity thats been stuck. Since you havent felt it in a long time your body is unprepared annnd that can also cause the anxiety, too much too fast, but just keep going no matter what unless your kundalini is acting up and you think its a bad idea! But void practice and aura cleaning you knoe you know:) good luck thats just my theory! Itll always be okay(; and father is there when we really need him~~lexxxaaa

Sounded to me like you where about to astral project, maybe learn some good exit techniques. Ele acting up, you must have a lot of energy! Direct it :)

Hi again guys,

First I'd like to thank you for your input. Helps me a bit. Scanned the net last night and read about sleep paralysis and whatnot.
After having been through more than a dozen pages, I finally came to the conclusion that due to the emotional and physical stress I've been dealing with over the past year or two, all of it finally accumulated to the point that I went into sleep paralysis. Still doesn't quite explain the noise and vibrating... I did however read somewhere that vibrations are like a tool to project to a higher plane. (We use vibrations too while opening our chakras for eg.)

I think my meditation may have just set it off a bit though. I do the protection prayer each night before I sleep. I used to clean my aura regularly and visualize a blue light surrounding my bed, but as school has been very busy for me lately, I've barely had any energy to do anything. I have a big fear of the dark (which is kind of embarrassing considering I'm 24 years old...), which in turn is due to a traumatic and heavy childhood.

My dreams are as vivid as ever however... For the past two nights they've been of sexual nature of different degrees, and of extra-terrestrials (though I felt no fear, oddly enough).
Both my mother and I have always been very... "alert" (for the lack of a better word). She has the insane ability to sense when someone in the family has died (she says she can sense this specific smell whenever it happens) and will have dreams that later on actually happen. When I was younger, I used to think it was only her. But as I started growing up, all these things started happening. Furniture in a room will creak when I walk past and rooms will start making small noises when I walk in... I sometimes have like these very brief, very quick flashes of images in my head that usually don't make any sense till later on when the things I saw actually happen. I "feel" electricity, if that makes sense.. If someone turns on a television or something (even with the sound muted) in another part of the house or even the apartment below, I will instantly feel it. Wtf that's all about, I honestly have no idea.
Does anyone relate to anything I've listed so far?

Sorry for the mini-novel. My mind is just a bit of a mess right now, if some of it doesn't get out, I feel like I'll go insane.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and answer. Much love ♥

Ave Satanas
