Sixth Chakra and Ida and Pingala imbalances

I have a major imbalance in my Ida and Pingala Serpents/Nadis, I know this because my nose is always congested. So I decided to open my Sixth Chakra.

I have my Third Eye, Crown and Throat Chakras open. I'm just asking will it be safe to open my Sixth Chakra, and will this help me with my nasal Congestion. Thanks In Advance!
