He's a little thing I was doodling, thought i'd post it.
The fire is stoked at the base, and stirs the serpents into movement.
Winding up the spine, they travel through the seat of sexuality and pleasure.
Up into the powerhouse of the soul, where the grail of Lucifer catches the secretions of its female counterpart; the 6th chakra.
Further the serpents climb, fueled from below, to where energies both masculine and feminine are connected, intertwined with one another, just like the serpents.
The ruler of emotions is where they've reached now, to whom happiness and sadness are known.
The fire, ever hotter, drives the serpents upwards still, to the watchful 6th chakra, who's careful nourishment feeds the soul and psychic ability. Here the serpents meet, encapsulated in each others gaze.
The journey and ascension of the serpentine energy, empowers the crown chakra, bestowing bliss onto the soul. Thus the cycle is complete.
I have taken some artistic liberty with it (it was just a sketch after all), for example, the two snakes which wind upwards, cross lastly at the throat, then meet each other at the tip of the nose after forming a heart shape (this image would imply they cross lastly at the 6th chakra and meet each other at the 7th chakra, which is incorrect)
Another example is the throat chakra, which is represented by a tearful eye, though in reality it is the seat of emotions both happy and sad.
It became apparent to me today, more than ever, that the human soul is such a beautiful thing. Far more detailed and sublime than I can comprehend. Every creative thought we have is a product of this soul, it holds more beauty than the most beautiful painting you can imagine. I am in awe of its vastness, and the humans and gods who have the ability to comprehend it in it's entirety.
Any criticisms or corrections let me know, what's shown here is just what I understand from reading here.
