8.1 is crap honestly. You should look into disabling security certificate checks while on the jos site.
Try using the chrome browser.

8.1 is shit and was never even supposed to be released. but because some asshole jew at microsoft wanted more money they force it down your throat.
Do what I did. Backup all your data and files, write down all your browser bookmarks, and install windows 7 by downloading it to your computer and saving it to a 4 GB usb drive.

Depending on your computer you might have to hit f2 at bootup and go into a command prompt to wipe your hard drive and then change the disc type to MBR like I had to. It took a whole day of research to figure out how to do this on my type of laptop but my computer runs way better on 7 than it ever did before.
Once it's installed then you can copy all your backed up files to the desktop, install firefox, install firefox adblocker (wouldn't use the net without it) and install avast free antivirus.
Also MOST IMPORTANTLY if you wind up having to wipe your hard drive make sure to copy your wireless internet driver!I forgot to do this and had a pain in the ass of a time downloading one for my computer from a library computer before having to install the internet driver from a usb!
You will need to reinstall ALL your drivers after changing OS from 8/8.1 to windows 7 so make sure you know what model computer you have!

I always use google chrome, I never have any problems. I'm operating on the windows 8.1 OS.

depending on your hardware and drivers 8.1 can kill your computer. better off with 7 trust me

Reinstall your browser.  I had Google Chrome, but when I think of Google, I think of Bill Gates.  Bill Gates is a child killing Jew piece of shit.  I don't know if that asshole owns the Firefox browser, but since switching I like my internet experience a lot more.  It's a simple matter of going to Firefox.com.  Make sure when you download it you don't go by what the title says, but by what the website name says.  It should be Choose the independent browser   This will reset everything, it will be slightly different (with the same features) and you'll have to get used to it, but ultimately I think you'll like it a lot more.

I figured it out its problem is from the date. you have to change your date. and 8.1 sucks really I had seven and even xp is better than this shit
