I'm sure you are 100% correct and I agree with you. Even the people who find this group through yahoo there's the JoS site in the front page. And in a good place everyone can see it, it just screams "READ ME", you can't say that it is hidden or in small letters and not visible. Even in the JoS site in the groups section it talks about reading the site first before asking questions as they are answered there.

I don't even know how those people didn't got to read that first. There might be some people that can't access the jos site bcuz of censorship but those are really few in numbers.

I have seen your name popping up in some very informative Posts, Sir Siguard, thank you for all the help you give the newer ones. And I must definitely agree with you that people don't seem to think/research for themselves anymore. But I think I know why people don't seem to know any of the basic information.

They get on yahoo-groups, thinking : Ugh I hate my parents, I'm going to be satanist to piss them off!
Then they find the JoS e-group and think: oh yeah, now I'll become powerful and rule over many demons yeah!
This is where they usually immediately do a dedication ritual because they think it's a joke, and they heard a lot about it on the E-group.
This is when they start asking idiotic questions.

I think among every 10 dedicated satanists, only 1 is among the true ones, the ones who take this serious, the ones like you and me.
This is not a hate post and saying everyone is fake, but I'd like the kids on here that aren't serious to REALLY think if satanism is for them.

With all due respect to the elders but not all of us that are new are retarded, for sometimes there are situations and topics that cannot be utterly clear, understandable or found on the JoS site.

Few days ago I have posted a question about existence of a ritual to thank the Father for everything He has done for me in the past year other than the Thanksgiving ritual. Yes, I have celebrated the 23rd the best I was able to regarding the circumstances at home. So, a simple "yes, ...", "no, do the Thanksgiving" or "combine the following..." would have been just fine. Instead of that I got silence. So please, help me with this one.

I do agree that there is a flood of moronic question that are equal to the chapter titles on the JoS site and that makes me sick too. It is annoying to browse the inbox of 100 posts with only 10-15% of them reasonable. Ignorance is the one and only sin against the Father.

But please, I repeat, some of us are having problems finding the appropriate answers on the JoS site. Please, do understand that (as far as I can tell) some of the new guys here have the language and ethnic barrier problems to.

So, all of that (apart from the how-do-I-summon-a-Daemon like questions posted by lazy people who still did not get it that the whole deal is to actually improve your self first) does not qualify all of us that are new as morons.

to answer your question, the thanksgiving ritual is just fine, and you can always adjust or add the the prayer to make it more to your liking. You could also do the basic ritual and just add into your prayer all the thanks and what they are for to Father.

I think the questions they ment were, as you said, the ones that are clearly on the JoS website, such as "how do i open so and so chakra" ect.

The problem is that people weren't answering you. People should still be answering questions, no matter how simple they seem. You don't know the full story, maybe they dont have access to the JoS website, or maybe they dont have a full understanding of it. Even if it is a stupid lazy-man's question, just put a link to the JoS site and they will get the hint. You can't walk through a closed door.

I was posting about really foolish questions - questions that can be answered easily, by studying JoS. Yes, it is LARGE, and I do admit that at first I was glad and scared by the amount of info there, yet now I can only be happy to have such a source of knowledge.

Some matters are unclear and people ARE WISE to post here if they haven't found the info on JoS or in the net - YOU ARE 100% correct.

As for the thanksgiving ritual - NOTHING RETARDED... ON THE CONTRARY. If it is not on JoS, than be creative, read the rituals that are on JoS, write down phrases that you would like to include, try to base your creation on something that already is. And maybe post it, or share with us, as some of us do with their poems, meditations and discoveries (my personal bow to lightofthedawn69 for the chaos stuff).

Do you know why some questions remain unanswered? Because IMO they are sometimes a matter of creativity, based on one's knowledge - LHP after all - or require self-study, which is often more fruitful.

This is not a hate post and saying everyone is fake, but I'd like the kids on here that aren't serious to REALLY think if satanism is for them.

iI definatly know more than 10 percent are SERIOUS about learning true Satanism and spirituality. Way more than 10 percent!

Yeah I've meet kids like that I'm about 20 and I was dedicated when I was dedicated and I've meet people who thought that it was for fame and power than they begin asking me stupid questions like, exuse me darklady13 but you have just springed a nice new post ^_^ we should just inform those other peoples to just use their brains since as a satanist we have one amazingly powerful resource a brain and we know how to use it! Seriously I've posted a while back read the jos site again and again, then I'm like everything you have been asking me is on that site read dammit! I've no longer responded to kids like that sir siguard you my brother have helped the younger ones good we appreciate it you have the very patients I lack. What do these kids want a freakin post-it with all of the links use google!! Ok thank you all for letting me rant and rave hail enki and hail haures. May the gods of hell watch over us all!!
