Or it could be mandatory at first and if you aren't satisfied, the system pairs you with another closest compatibility. If the capacity of free choice of the people is eliminated or trimped, then we are making the same shit as the yehuborim in their world order.
A solution could be that this system of pairing that you say is an optional service for anyone who requests it, but that is not mandatory.
But I think the incidence of that happening ,taking into account that you'll het paired with your perfect partner at the first time, would be very very low.
