Satan in Childrens Cartoon

elke_brujere1 min to read

Someone sent this to me, I thought I would share. It is actually from "Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger" which they say was banned from tv.

The angel Satan comes to these kids. They proceed to make people out of clay which he then brings to life. The people start doing stupid and annoying things, so Satan destroys them. It ends with him saying something like "there is nothing but you and empty space, and you are nothing but a thought"

I can't tell if it is supposed to be anti Satanic or not. It doesn't really seem to be.

I remember watching this video, it doesn't really adress Satanism so it isn't pro or anti-satanism. Cool video, I loved the cold contempt for humanity that the Satan character shows.

Very much AGAINST Satan.

A lie....Satan is not the viscous monster portrayed.

Life itself however, can be cruel.

It made me a little shaky. I think more than anything, it reminded me of the biblical god.

RE Cartoon
Hi I think its rather very well made ,& I consider it "neutral"
It DOES (be it in a simplistic way)show Satan as a creator
(perhaps THATS why it got banned)
But the word "angel"is of corse misplaced
Strange, but the whole concept seems to remind me of those
xtian "kiddy movies"
AVE SATANAS

That was my thought as well. Father Satan is nothing like that! No, he does not love everybody, but he doesn't hate them either. I believe he hates what they have become.

I totally disagree with most of the comments on this. I think you missed the deeper meaning of this cartoon.

First, Satan is said to be an "angel" which in xtian terms is a good thing. He is looked upon as a creator of life, which is a good thing. He creates life, he lets them live, and then he destroys... he destroys what he finds to be annoying or against his wishes. He has as much and / or more power than a xtian god.

Second, He is beautiful, he is ugly, nice, mean, giving, taking away. He is all things, such as the X god supposedly is.

I believe this to all be true. You need to make an effort to be on the good side of the gods; not like the clay figures that bow to a false god, (the king) and you must respect nature and know and respect the higher power that will respect you in turn if he likes you, or destroy you if you are an annoying piece of shit.
