Satan and Lord Shiva

Hii friends I'm a Hindu and I stay in india, I read lot about witchcraft, wicca, paganism and satanism. Have seen many similarities between satan and Shiva like eg. Both carry trident, both have snakes around them, they both give deep hidden secret knowledge, both are the source of witchcraft, even lord Shiva is said to be the lord of destruction. They both advocates yoga, and teaches about kundalini Shakti the primal life force in every individual. I just wanted to know whether r they both one and the same just have different name due to change in language and culture. ? It's my kind request to light some knowledge on this matter as this will clear my doubts.

One of the Perks of being an Indian Hindu is that you get to see beautiful pictures of Lord Shiva and other Pagan gods in your house instead of some kike on a cross... Infinitely better..!!
