Runes

I like to use Isa in it's form as "Ice, that which impedes" when I am doing a working for self defence against another person. I am currently reading Thorson's book from the rune guild. I like his take on them but I have also studied Freya Ashwins rune site and book also.

When is it added to a ritual? Must it be vibrated? I haven't really gotten the sounds down and don't want to add something I'm not totally sure how to pronounce.

When using multiple runes, is there a certain order one should order them in?  Or do you just pair them togethor in whatever order?

 I only know a little about the Runes. But what I do know is that there is a lot more to them than what one sees on the surface at first glance. To the untrained and uninitiated they may appear to simply be an alphabet for writing. But they are much more than that. They are connected to or symbolize universal energies and are not a toy for amusement or misuse. I strongly suggest you do some research on the Runes and how they can be safely used in combinations such as bind runes. To my understanding putting them together in the wrong combination can be quite detrimental to the person who assembled them. Used appropriately they can and do posses a genuine power.
 I am sure that there are some people on this site that know a lot about the Runes and can give you some wise guidance. Just be cautious I would say.

Last time, I asked about negative planetary energies and High Priestess Zildar told me that runes are helpful. However, which rune is useful in fighting off unwanted planetary energies, especially Saturn? This is the planet that I hate the most. I was born a capricorn. This planet makes me sick. Which rune is useful in helping with Saturn's destructive energies?

You can make your own, if you want. :3Here is a website that helped me, I am going to practice carving on a block of wood (make sure you have proper glasses to protect your eyes!) before I carve on blocks.

If you are really set on gemstones, just pick the ones that resonate best with you. There are so many options.When picking gemstones, if one is right handed, pick up the stone with your left hand. This is the "recieving" hand. This is how I choose my stones. The right hand is the "sender" hand, which sends out energy.
Myself, I got some black Moonstones to paint the Runes on, because they felt the best, and the description that I read of them made me feel they were my best choice.Pick what feels best to you, that would be a pleasure for you to work with.
If you are looking for certain properties in a stone that would amplify the Runes, just Google, look around in bookstores and read up on the properties of the stones. Some good books: 1) Love is in the Earth-by Melody (a lot of RHP BS, just ignore it :p but the description of the stones are excellent.)2) The Book of Stones-by Robert Simmons (again, more New Age BS, ignore that too, but it has  wonderful full colour pics and descriptions of the stones)
Perhaps the store where you get the stone may have a description of each stone that they sell (some stone stores do, not all.)
Popular choices are Amethyst, Onyx, Moonstone, Carnelian, Obsidian.However, I still made an extra set, that was wooden. I have a tendency of dropping or sitting on things at times, and I would hate to break a stone. :p
I don't know if you have come across this site, but it's SUPER informative about Runes, it's helped me a lot. There's SO much information to go through, it holds a LOT of info, more so then some of the Rune books I have (if not different information.)

Just a quick question:

I have my own set of runes, but yet to have acquired a Satanic rosary. I heard somewhere that the runes could be used similarly to the rosary.
Is this valid? I know both are tools for kabalistic vibration meditation, but does that still makes it the same, or very different?

Actually you use a satanic rosary to help you count with the runes and with whatever chants you might be vibrating. For example if you are vibrating the rune laguz then that is like 21 times. You would use the beads from the satanic rosary to help you count. And if you have to vibrate something like 50 times then again you need the rosary to help you keep count. Hope this clears up everything.

Thanks! That definitely clears up all of the confusion I've had.
I know that a Satanic rosary has 108 beads, but I am unclear on how the "pattern" you place the beads on the string. I've seen the one on the JoS website, but it seems to have more than 108 beads. I am assuming one side starts with 9, then a larger one to signify 10, and this is continued to the end, where the last row is 8.

you should do a kabbalistic square. but yes you can. look at the runes on the joyofsatrn website and you use the one that's best. do a 40 day working but I would use the sun square for that.

Are Runes advanced witchcraft?
I dedicated two months ago, will it be effective for me to attempt a Runes "session"? Or should I wait some time and keep my meditations before attempting to vibe Runes?
