Is there any power difference in the variations of the runes? And let's say a person is from Germany and even in past lifes he lived in the same area, the germanic variation would be more powerful for him?

Once I read on the forum that we shouldn't mix the runes. For example, if someone is doing a working using 3 runes, those runes should have the same origin. I mixed in some workings and in others I kept the same origin, but didn't notice any difference. Any thoughs on this?

Maybe partly but not necessarily. And with different runes, you might prefer ones from different sets.

When you go to the Futhark Odin page you will see that every rune has a germanic, gothic, nurse, etc, variant
