I tend to use the pendulum when asking about things, or more frequently - people. And whereas the pendulum can be influenced by our emotions and expectations, I don't know how it is with runes.
Can THEY be influenced by feelings etc? What do you think... I have a deck of runes (red on black background), and I even blessed them in the name of Gods.
