Runes and their numbers?

I'm starting to use runes and learning how to use them. In the "using the runes" page on the JoS, it says that each Rune has a specific number, which of course I understand. Such as Uruz=2 and Gebo=7. What the number IS, is what I can't figure out.

How do we know what number is of each Rune?

I have read thru the Rune's page itself, but I can't seem to find it. I could be missing something, and for safe-keeping I stick with vibrating it 9 times, but to know each individual number would be nice and more efficient.

..Hail Satan!!! Kabalistic magick is based upon letters and numbers, in that each letter corresponds with a number. The name of the letter is vibrated with a specific focus on a chakra of choice, an aspect of the soul, the aura, a body organ (for empowering and/or healing). The number of the rune corresponds with the number of times it is to be vibrated--or in mulptiples of that number.
Say if you are doing Gebo whose number if 7 so you would want to vibrate this rune either seven times per meditation session or a multiple of seven.
Is that what you were asking about?
