I have tried to look up information on roses in tcm online but I was not very succesful.. Ive been wondering why I sometimes react so much to them mentally. Im not allergic to em..
Could you please post a bit about them if you have a bit of information on them?

Also there is something else Ive been wondering about if I should ask, but I guess I might as well.
About 2 years ago I got a headlice infection somehow and since then Ive had some swollen lymfeknots.. Well. The others seem to have gone down but there is one in my neck that just doesnt want to go. Some days its smaller though. I dont check it every day. Ill be trying to heal it with energy the next couple of days and see if it goes. If it does ill be happy.

I got nothing on the roses aside from I enjoy them.

In turn of the lymph it's an antiflammation, can try iodine or lotion that's made for the antiflammation.

Of course there's always antibiotics or home remadys that can be found online.

Roses are not widely used in TCM however I did find a record about them in a book I have at home which was translated from Chinese.

Their Chinese name is Mei Gui Hua - this refers to the rose buds collected in Spring and early Summer just before they bloom, with the pedicles and bases removed and then dried in a low heat environment.

They are Sweet, slightly bitter and warm and enter the Spleen and Liver Channels.

This makes them useful for Liver overacting on Earth type syndrome where there is pain and blood circulation problems.

These are less herbal than they are useful as a food but they could be used as a mild medicinal for people who have the following symptoms:

Irritability with pain or distension in the flanks and hypochondrium (under the rib cage on the sides of the body), pain which comes and goes and is experienced as a dull ache over a general or broad area, digestive upsets and tiredness which correlate with stress, symptoms which are better for movement and exercise with a wiry pulse and a pink tongue with a thin white coating.

They should be used with precaution in persons who feel tired all the time, have loose stools, shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating and a low appetite or persons who have high fever, strong thirst for very cold drinks and agitation due to full fire.

In regards to swollen lymph nodes...

This can occur for many reasons including persistent and dormant infections.

If these are accompanied by alternating periods of chills and then fever (1 feeling for a few hours or a day followed by the other for a period of time) combined with a low grade sore throat, abnormal sweating patterns and generalised malaise (lethargy, depression) then this may be a ShaoYang pattern which is easily rectified by Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum decoction) or Da Chai Hu Tang if there is more heat and constipation (Major Bupleurum decoction (+Rhubarb to move stools)).

It could also be a number of other syndromes depending on the presenting other signs and symptoms but painless lumps in general are referred to in TCM as phlegm nodules.

I also forgot to mention that Mei Gui Hua can be used to treat irregular menstruation problems due to blood stasis from long-standing qi stasis.

So, if the symptoms are the same as mentioned above + irregular menstruation, then this herb would be appropriate.

Bear in mind though, that it is very mild in its action and therefore may take some time to work.

The appropriate dosage is 1.5 - 6 grams in a formula or on its own (per course of medicine, not per day).

Well I dont feel pain so that should not be much of an option then. Thanks for the information anyway :)

As for the lymph.. When they were swollen I did feel that kind of sick but not anymore later. And not now either.
As for lethargy.. I can say that there is barely any day but this is also kinda general and goes back for longer than this, that I eo not generally feel happy or well as in Im doing great I am doing well everything goes fine and if someone comes to mess up my day or life Ill shut him up and kick him out or something. Rather dull. But then again what is dull? Most people seem to be unable to comprehend that what someone else feels might not be what they feel nor can they comprehend or even understand that there are some people that feel hings more intense than others. For me it is normal but would an average dummy make the switch they wouldnt feel so fine.
So no its not like a total lack of emotion lol.

I hope I was clear enough in my explanation.
