Good day, Zevists. I will start straight from the words of High Priest Zevios Metathronos: “…respect is the proper response to genuine achievement.”
Respect is accepting the reality of others having merits in life. It’s not appearing weaker, lowering defences, or being a slave.
In reality, when someone thrives in spheres where we would like to grow, acknowledging others appropriately according to their status aligns one closer to reality, because when we accept our place, we can be sensible towards what is around us.
This is the power and ability in itself. Power in being responsible for yourself and the ability to grow by having an example.
So it is very worthy to respect and act accordingly towards others, and not only towards the most accomplished Personalities, but literally other Zevists who may be of various ranks in their lives. Because someone will still have what you need to work upon, unless they are Izfetic and yehubor.
But generally, everyone has different lives, and there are also small things that someone may know but you don’t, and through relating to one another, one can learn what is needed.
And now about the most accomplished Beings in our community. They deserve patience, respect, empathy, listening, and everything good we can offer when we are around them, with the utmost devotion and attention. These people sacrificed everything for divine nature to be accessible to everyone and are always pushing through hard and steadily, for the best of others.
It’s not hard just to say thank you or something respectful, to give a nice gesture showing that you understand what they say, or to show that you are here and listening. It’s beneficial mostly for you because they will do what they can anyway, but the question is: are you doing it? It’s only small things, but they already bring you closer to reality, and it means a lot even to them.
To do the work for the Gods and see that people are following it, that people are not silent but are trying to relate, even through the simplest acts, makes a Zevist happy and gives support. After all, even a small act is your identification of your presence and a connection in itself. It affects everyone.
When I see positive comments, replies, or answers to topics in our forums that are for Clergy, for instance, it always makes my heart smile because I see that it’s not only me who values their presence and wisdom, but also that I have people around about whom I can think good of and know that there are more initiates and seekers of truth around, that we are growing, and that the future is brighter.
