Repressed anger and crown chakra

Is there any relationship between anger and the crown chakra? Could repressed anger be a cause for blockage?

I've doing the healing emotional body for a second time (with higer reps than the first time) and a lot of repressed anger is coming out. Also, during the working I get this sharp pain in the crown chakra area, it feels like a needle trying (and failing) to go in.

Repressed anger has to do with the base chakra but it can affect the crown since they are a chakra pair.
