To those who still send people private messages with your info, DONT.
These kind of messages are to be ignored.

This is the 3rd time I've had to point this out since joining the forum.
I'm not sure if anyone else has been getting similar messages but the HP's and all our intelligent members have also talked about this many times.

Do you know how to change the name that you want to go by? I've tried looking for ways to change it, but haven't had any luck. Is it whatever your email is? Do I need to change my email?

You may just have to make a new account, I tried changing mine and had no luck getting it to work, so I just made a new account.

I wanted to change some stuff too and was furious to find it is impossible. Fucking invasive bastards! I believe they have quietly turned off the ability to change that info who knows how long ago. I would initially say the only way is to open a brand new one and trash the old. But the dirty fucks have THAT figured out too, as when one is opening a new e-mail, they want a current e-mail so everything is linked at some level only the controllers can access. AND, If we DO open a brand new one, get on the forum and say: Hey guys, this is my new name, infiltrators get the info that way too. So WTF.

it wouldn't let me into the page you fill out when you create the account that contains the name, birthdate and all personal info. I was able to alter the username (what the public sees) but this core info, what the account was created under (what the people controlling the account see) remains the same so essentially you haven't changed anything substantial. Anyone accessing through the 'backdoor' can follow everything. I don't know how to explain better. I was so mad, I got a couple of younger people here who are really computer internet savvy to try to help me and they couldn't get into that page either.

Yeah I was referring to those morons who keep leaving a phone number and address in private messages.But you should also never use your real name either.
