Regarding Pentagrams...

I think I saw it here that your not supposed to use a pentagram with a circle surrounding it, and it should just be the Star,is this true?

Im thinking of buying a Pentagram necklace and I don't want to get a pentagram with a circle around it if they are bad...

Can you tell me why ,if they are bad?

really. I have an artwork i use that I did years ago and the circle is halfway around the pentagram. I would like to know too. Hail Satan !!

I have an inverted pentagram with a circle around it but I don't wear it because I'm not attracted to it.

Anyone really know's if it's bad, because I never heard of this before :/

It is bad, notice how on the JoS homepage, the circles are removed (and the hebrew letters replaced with Sanskrit or Enochian, I actually forget what language)
I remember long ago reading something about it, something about how the circles bind energy or something, I honestly don't remember.
All i know is that for pentagrams, it is best to avoid circles, but as Brian said, it is a personal choice and what is in your heart truly counts.
(Of course, one should always strive to evade anything related to hebrew, in which Satan means 'enemy')

Anton LaVey eliminated the Samael and Lilith and decided this particular symbol best represented the Church of Satan and made it the Church’s logo in 1967. Because of the Hebrew lettering and the circles which are highly offensive to Satan and his Demons, JoS Ministries has removed them and replaced them with cuneiform script reading “Satan.”

Sears has got a couple really nice pentagrams. I have both. One has black stones on it and is really nice. Both are very affordable and come from fine jewelers. You probably have to go to the online site and check for it as I don't know if they carry them in the stores.
