regarding alchemy

I have hears much about alchemy, and I am curious as to the extents of alchemy and its tie to spirituality and magic. Would anyone like to share some knowledge or resources on the subject?

True Alchemy is Alchemy of the Soul. The Ancient priest class were known as alchemists, and is why you often see stories of 'Wizards' being great Alchemists, who can turn any metal into gold.

A code word for the Chakras is Metals, each chakra being represented by a certain metal. In the process of empowering the soul to Godhead, we turn the Chakras (metals) into gold. That is, the chakras become perfected and vibrate gold.

This is what true Alchemy is, working with the chakras and the soul, to achieve Godhead.
