REDIRECTING ENERGY FLOW TO 3RD EYE

I want to open my 3rd eye. On JOS, under that subject title, a specific hand position is required for redirecting energy to the 3rd eye during the process.
The problem is that I never feel any "very faint electrical shock" as suggested when I place my hands/fingers in the suggested position for the exercise.

My question is: DOES ANY MEMBER HERE KNOW OF ANY OTHER AUTHENTIC WAY TO REDIRECT THE ENERGY FLOW DURING THIS EXERCISE?

When I say authentic, I mean a method known to work which is apart from unsubstantiated personal opinion.

Someone who's done the opening exercise successfully in an alternative way can be helpful. Thank you.

I'm also working on my third eye and I sould say, you missed the part where it said you might or might not feel the shock, since it depends on what level of sensiivity you're in.

The sensation I had while doing that mudra was feeling like a pressing between my eyebrows, but eh.

When I was doing that particular one I also focused on willing energy to go into my third eye.

Thanks for your reply---but if the shock is missed, is the exercise still effective?

The way I do it, it feels like it is but that was after a few times of trying to do it. Nothing major happened like being able to see auras or anything like that but can feel pressure on my third eye randomly sometimes, which didn't really happen that much before.
