It doesn't work like that, your soul doesn't have a brain because your soul exists outside of "space-time" aka the material world. You can always access it because it derives consciousness from all of your bioelectricity through your entire central nervous system, not just one spot in the brain. It freely exists when you're dead, too.

The theory is that although it shouldn't be possible to remember that far back in your life, some people can, and the memory of the doctors in the white masks and the experience of being born in a hospital is confused for a memory of alien abduction. There is zero proof any of these claims ever took place so if your friend has one or two connections out of place in their brain, it will show on x-ray.
