questions about black mirrors

Hey guys was.reading ToZ and found the article "using and empowering a black mirror"

And it says once empowered to wrap it in silk to contain the energy...
My question is are there any less expensive options as silk is a bit beyond my price range...

I use a cotton scarf/pashmina. Works fine for me. You can also use a large, clean blanket or cloth. Whatever you have will do.
