Question on Dedication

I am new and confused on the dedication issue. If Satan does not require blood sacrifice as in other traditions then I do not know why we have to sign our name in blood. I have to admit I am hesitant as it brings up all of the Faustian fears. I am doing the meditating but have been unable to go the next step due to this question. If someone could respond I would be grateful. Thanks!

I did the dedication as soon as I was able but your question is valid. The signature in blood doesn't require much at all but from what I've been taught, I understand it to be our giving a dna sample of ourselves and then burning it puts it on the Astral.

Also, I believe somebody here once said saliva will also work but you'll probably want one of the HP here to confirm this.

But really, it only takes the tiniest amount. It's nothing at all like the madness of blood sacrifices.

Then again, if you're not interested in dedicating, perhaps you'll want to further examine what's holding you back. Father is very big on free will.

The blood is sort of like our own big first step to show how determined we are about this. It's the only kind of "sacrifice" we'll make, in order to show our resolution about it. Don't put saliva... It has nothing to do with DNA, but with the courage to put your blood on the paper.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I don't mean to spread bad information (hence the request for clarification). I just remember having read those two details in here and perhaps I should've considered my source.

There's so much confusion on all of this - bad information planted on purpose to trip us up.

I wasn't meaning to be disrespectful.
