Question about Weed

Hello,

I've got a question about the use of Weed.
From what I've heard we Satanists aren't supposed to smoke weed (please confirm this). And as stated on the JOS website "we are law abiding".

But I'm from the Netherlands and it's legal here to smoke weed, so does that make it OK to smoke?
Not that I'm going to smoke it right after I've got a answer, but I'm just very curious =p

there's really no sins in satanism so it's completely up to you. satanism is about independence, free thought, and personal choice so if you want to go ahead; you're not going to recieve "divine punishment for your sins" or anything like that. weed is a mind altering drug so you need to consider that too. I'm not an expert on weed so I don't know exactly how it affects your brain and nervous system but there is a possibility that it could negatively affect your meditations. Also if you smoke it that will damage your lungs. I'm not sure if eating it is any better though. If you eat a bud you get really messed up. I think if your responsible and don't do it in ridiculous amounts and only do it once and awhile you should be fine but thats just my opinion. I hope that helps you out dude.

What Ryan said is all correct. However doing drugs (other than medicinal) isn't something Enki wants us doing. These drugs can put holes in our auras and screw up your mind. There is no devine punishment for anything you do, as Ryan said. However, there is the consequences of one's actions. Responsibility to the Responsible.

Sorry this has little detail, usualy it would be. But today my mind seems to be blank for some reason.
The point is, there is nothing against it, but it dosn't do you any good.

From what I've seen there's no rules about what satanist aren't aloud to do...... What you do is entirely you're fault if you get in trouble.

The goal of satanism is to essentially become a god, to live as long as you can and to extend your knowledge as much as you can.

Weed and other drugs are often used to get into certain meditiative states.

I personally would just say don't overdo it and don't let it harm your health, which I know weed is not harmful.....

Use it to meditate since it makes it easy to relax, atleast that's what I do.

Weed or any types of drugs should NEVER be used to help you meditate. The key of Satanism is to achieve full self reliance and to reach GodHood. When we use drugs and things of that sort to enhance our meditation skills, we become reliant on them, and sooner or later we can't seem to get into a trance without using these things. And this is a very difficult problem to overcome.
Not to mention as i said before, it puts holes in your aura and significantly slows down your progress.
The last time i did pot, i woke up paralized with a grey standing over me, luckely Ipos is fast when i call him, but this is an example of what can happen. I don't get attacked often because of my protection i place around myself, but the pot created a big enough gap for an enemy to easily slip in.

There is nothing stoping you from doing it, but you have to be ready to accept the harm it can and will do to you.

I do agree with Satanic_Viking. We are NOT supposed to use drugs because they screw with our minds and our auras.

We don't condemn weed, there is nothing wrong with Ms. Jane. Likewise though, we don't condone the over use either. Over use of weed (or any drug for that matter, alcohol included)leads to a feeble and week mind. I envy you, I wish weed was legal in the States. Weed isn't really adverse to your health and it is actually beneficial to some health problems! Asthma being an example, weed can actually help that out. It's fine you smoke weed, just remember, indulgence and NOT compulsion!
