Question about rosary beads

I have about 5 strands of rosary beads in my drawer. I don't hold them in any reverence and I would throw them out or give them away, but they belong to my deceased grandmother.

I don't think of them as religious, just an object. Is it bad to still be keeping them?

I'd sell them OR purify in a way. Think of it - your grandma was a xian for sure, and if she has been using them, they may hold a lot of xian energy (death energy that is), which for us is lethal, or simply dangerous. Either way, an excuse such as 'my grandma's blah blah blah' is in fact binding the neg. energy to you.

<td val[/IMG]Thanks for the responses guys.  I have had them for about 20 years.  Like I said I don't think of them as a religious article, just some pretty old beads.  Funny enough, my grandma was raised in a strict catholic home, but was a bit of a rebel.  She led quite a hedonistic lifestyle and raised some hell back in the 30's.
