Question about consecrating tools

Do I invoke the crowned princes by ringing the bell and turning like the standard ritual or do I just open with the the consecration prayer?

There is the way it is on the JoS site but I consecrate altar items in the standard ritual I do every Monday, of course there are days I can not do and I leave for next Monday.
