What can the Gods , think of someone who jumps off a bridge because his toy car broke down. Simply that he is stupid, just as anyone would weigh that.
Yes the Gods give directions on what to do, and you do the opposite, what do you want them to think? If you tell a person, "Look, if you take a hammer and pull it on your hand you will hurt yourself, it will probably break and you will have possibly irreparable damage," and the person to whom he says that to takes the hammer and if he breaks his hand, what would you think? here the Gods think the same.
If what you are doing is completely in line with things, then you can rest assured. If not, read the story again.
