On the one hand I realize that Yehuborim are not the best people, but on the other hand I just don't care about them. I realize the need to do RTR, but it's hard to force myself, so suppose if I do it once a month, will the ritual be valid? It's like, if you lay one brick in the foundation each time one day you can wake up in a castle?

Each and every ritual is valid. However, with your approach the "castle" you refer to is going to take many lifetimes to be built. Maybe there needs to be more growth on your end to realize the need for certain things and so on.
