Is intermittent fasting unhealthy?

There's a lot of evidence to support it, but I keep reading that it's not good in various posts here.

Is Hindu fasting in referrence to something else?

I have noticed it's turned me into a bit of an addict scarcity seeking behaviour where I'm more inclined to eat a lot of food in one go to get my carolies instead of spread more thinly across the day.

It works for some people. Fasting for longer periods of time is shown to be beneficial for people who have toxins or are very sluggish, and I've read of success stories for people battling certain diseases. But overall, in general fasting is not healthy and can leave the mind open to brainwashing which is why muslims do it.

Do what works for your body, for your optimal health.
