Is it very dangerous in the future? Is there a high probability of failure? Is there anything that can be done to offset the negative impact?

I've known SS who bought electronics etc during MercRx and they turned out perfectly fine. It is advised not to because chances are higher that there will be problems, but even buying during direct Mercury can result in problems.

Don't worry about it. Think of it this way, it was created at a different time. The time it was created and the time when you install it are more important than the time you got it.
