Question #1981: What is the JoS's stance/position on castle doctrine?

I'm kind of curious if the JoS has a stance on this whole self defense thing, of if there is a general consensus within its members. I myself think something like Spiritual Satanism would support arming yourself, since I'm sure the Gods can't watch over you 24/7, not to doubt them or anything like that. But, I like the idea of taking care of yourself first, if you can without being babysat. Really not sure, thoughts? Is being physically attacked something that a lot of us worry about? Obviously firearms are a last resort, but I would like some thoughts and opinions on the matter.

One should always aim for prevention in such cases i.e., doing AoP daily. Putting a strong AoP on yourself will prevent you from getting into a situation where you have to defend yourself physically.

Regarding physical self defense, always follow the law of the country you are residing in. Study the law and the past cases. See if just retaliation is frowned upon by the law or if it is legal. We abide by all the laws dictated by the state or the country. There are no spiritual laws dictated by any country or state, yet. As such, you are free to retaliate spiritually if someone has gravely offended you. However, this does not mean that you can go on committing injustices against the innocent.

Note that this is only for cases where there is no physical altercation i.e., you cannot immediately defend yourself spiritually if someone wants to harm you physically. In that case, learn weapons and firearms laws of the country or the state that you are residing in.

If you are reside in an area where you have to worry about physically protecting yourself, move out asap.
Search for a safe place to live all the while you put a strong AoP on yourself. Moving out is of utmost importance if you reside in such a dangerous area even with an AoP.

The idea that you can not defend yourself or your family, you have to allow your children and wife be raped and murdered and you can't do anything about it. This is absolutely Yehuborim, as Yehuborim do not consider humans to be anything more than worthless objects, and an inanimate object does not have any right to decide what you do to it.

Satanism is another word for Life, and all things that allow the growth and increase of Life to be stronger, healthier, and more advanced in all ways. The absolute most important right is the right to defend your own life, and the right to defend the lives of your family. There is no way to grow and advance if you are dead, as Life requires Life.

It would be a great contradiction to accept that Satan gave us the knowledge of black magic but then be against guns. If one is too scared to have one in their home then in my opinion they don't trust their own sanity or that of those that live with them. No other explanation.
