I was told that I shouldn't do chakra opening until I clear my aura and soul, but is this true and how do I know if I'm ready?

I think you are over doing things and need to cut back a bit. You also need to ground yourself, try reducing the number of vibrations and do more yoga.

Aside from the advice provided by others, there is no need for you to wait to start opening your chakras. Cleaning your aura and soul overall can take several years, and is not a prerequisite to opening your chakras. Regarding whoever told you that:

Please, do not variate the numbers given in the opening meditation because they are there for a specific reason. The most appropriate numerological pattern is much more effective than thousand of vibrations, as thousands of vibration burn you out. Sacred geometry is something to take into account, not just "I'll do as many reps as I feel like doing". That's extremely dangerous as you've been told. Numbers have their own patterns they propagate, which is essential.
