When a Christian prays for you with their hands on you.. what would they be sending into you?

My mom is a christian and she couldn't help but pray for me, and she laid her hands on my arm while she was praying (I was looking and I saw she was pretty concentrated on what she was saying). My arm was burning for like 5 hours after. I tried to meditate but that didn't help either. I couldn't concentrate :S

I don't know for certain, having never experienced it, but I would say
off hand that they're sending high concentrations of negative energy.
Of course they don't know it's negative, but nonetheless...
