this movies tells the story of an eruptions that destroyed pompei, but it is obvious it is about how christianity destroyed rome. The roman consul fall in love with a jewish princess captured as slave from judea that follow the christ cult and the apostole matthew. It is very clear each time he talks good of the jewish woman the earth starts to crumple of earthquakes. He and rome fell in love with the jew and got devastated.
